There was something about the way Duo's hand moved over him that was incredibly soothing for Wufei. It really did feel like the memory of the pain was fading, being replaced with that warm touch that seemed to sink right into him. It was worlds away from what he was used to, but something he had craved for as long as he could remember.

Just to be touched. To be wanted and loved in a physical way. His culture kept that behind closed doors, and after his parents had died he'd been all but cut off from physical contact.

He was just now starting to realize how desperately he needed it. He nodded in answer to the question, shifting closer when he was pulled, until he'd pressed himself against Duo from hip to shoulder. It was as much contact as he could get, and he nestled his face into Duo's neck as he settled.

"Yes," he replied, giving him a firm squeeze. He sounded almost choked up about it.
