After pulling a hand free, Duo reached up when Wufei had settled against him and cupped the back of his boyfriends head, fingers softly stroking his hair as he smiled.

"Good. Always kinda wanted to be..." Sometimes he'd daydreamed about it. About what he'd do after the war. If he'd finally ask Wufei out, if Wufei would say yes or kick him in the balls and call him disgusting for daring to think he'd like men, much less someone as lowly as Duo Maxwell.

But sometimes he'd imagine Wufei saying yes. He'd think about what he'd do, where he'd take Wufei. Would they take it slow or would they speed through? Did Wufei like dancing? What about movies? Could he sit through a whole one or did he like opera or theatre or... Just what did someone like Wufei Chang like?

Duo would play through so many options that if it ever came to a point where he actually did ask Wugei out on a date, he wasn't entirely sure if he would know what to do with himself.

Thankfully he'd somehow managed to skip that and went straight to having a boyfriend.

"... I so lucky," He breathed, eyes closing and face turning towards Wufei, cheek to cheek. "I'd always dreamed of you. And apparently I fell in love with you in a dream... And now you're in my arms."
